Step #1 — Make sure your wallet is backed up and secure
Before you receive funds in your wallet, you want to make sure that it's backed up. On an iPhone, this will be via iCloud. On an Android device, this will be in Google Drive. You can check the status of your wallet's backup by going to the Wallet Tab. If its not backed up, you will see an alert on this tab with actions to ensure your wallet is in a good state.
Step #2 — Determine what crypto you are sending
Most of our users send Solana, Base or USDC on Solana due to the low transaction fee costs on those chains. The Rally wallet supports sending Solana, Base, and Ethereum as well as any tokens on those chains. More chain support is coming shortly!
Step #3 — Copy your wallet address
If you are sending Base or Ethereum, you will want to identify the EVM address and copy that. On the Wallet tab, this is the address that starts in 0x
. If you're sending Solana or any memecoins on Solana, you'll want to use the other address available on this screen.
You can easily copy it to your clipboard by tapping on the address.
Step 4 — Send to the wallet address from your non-custodial Wallet
Whether its Phantom, Metamask, or MagicEden — most non-custodial wallets will have a way to send crypto to another address. With your Rally address copied, head to your sending wallet and select the amount and chain that you are sending on. Paste the address and process the transaction.
⚠️ Wallet address best practices:
We always recommend verifying the address when you paste it (to ensure it properly copied) by verifying the first 4 and last 4 numbers of the address. Please do a manual verification once you paste the address into your sending wallet.
If you're sending large amounts, the best practice is to send a test transaction first (usually $1 → $10) and confirm it lands in your wallet as expected.
Once you see the confirmation screen, you are able to return back to the Rally app and see the funds in your wallet 👛
