Step #1 — Make sure your wallet is backed up and secure
Before you receive funds in your wallet, you want to make sure that it's backed up. On an iPhone, this will be via iCloud. On an Android device, this will be in Google Drive. You can check the status of your wallet's backup by going to the Wallet Tab. If its not backed up, you will see an alert on this tab with actions to ensure your wallet is in a good state.
Step #2 — Choose your funding details
Head to the Wallet Tab and tap Fund. This will take you a deposit flow where you can select the following details:
What funding token you want to use to fund your wallet: many memecoin traders select Solana since this is the underlying chain for most memecoins.
How much you'd like to deposit, denominated in either your native currency or in crypto.
And what app you will pay with. Tap on this row and select either Coinbase or Robinhood. The apps will only show in the list if they are installed on your device.
Once you've selected the three details, hit "Continue" and you will be redirected through the flow with either Coinbase or Robinhood.
Step #3 — Finalize the transaction with the exchange
At this point, you should be on the Coinbase or Robinhood website and being prompted to go through login and purchase completion processes. An example of what these steps might look like is included below. If you experience issues in this flow, please reach out to the support team for the exchange you are using.
Once you see the confirmation screen, you are able to return back to the Rally app and see the funds in your wallet 🥳
